Big Idea: Paul writes to the new church in Thessalonica to encourage them to continue their walk with God despite their persecution. He does this by reminding them that they have been “Chosen by God” and therefore are under his divine protection and that their change in lifestyle, from idol worship to following the one true living God, is inspiring other believers experiencing similar persecution and causing non-believers to have a look at this new faith in God through Jesus.
