Romans 14:14-17;  1 Corinthians 8

Key verse: 1 Corinthians 8:13

Big idea: Idols are nothing more than a concept, and so we are free to eat the meat sacrificed to them. However, not everyone truly believes this, and so eating food sacrificed to an idol is still idolatrous for them. So we don’t encourage them to sin, we should refrain from eating. What other freedoms might we need to give up to protect our brothers and sisters?
